Hi I've got an audi a3 mk1 1.9 tdi I've been looking at brembo rear brake pads just wondering are they any good and will i notice any different? been looking at these on ebay Audi A3 BREMBO Full REAR Brake Pads | eBay
Well they are going to be oem equivelent. So will be ok for road as long as your not going mad. If you want an upgraded pad then you need to look else where. Very reasonably price those pads. Just avoid cheap rubbish. Its your brakes!!
somewhere I think I still have the cold hard evidence
In the form of a Brembo supplied pads from a set of Brembo Junior GT brakes, with the Brembo logo stamped (poorly) over the top of the Mintex logo, serial number etc
I replaced these pads with branded Mintex - identical - same serial etc - just no Brembo logo and £20 cheaper
It's a hit or a miss with Brembo we fitted Brembo on a Volvo and within the week it come back with brake judder. Brembo pads are just or spec to be honest I swear by
Bosch
Trw
Durid/bendix
I fitted Brembo brake discs on the back of mine with durid/bendix pads on the back
