KONI STR.T Shock Absorbers and Apex Springs

Hi All,

I have a 2002 S3 which is in need of a front shock absorber and a pair of top mounts. Since I am going to be opening things up I was thinking of putting set of lowering springs on and possibly changing all the shocks as the car has done 110k. I am going for some Apex 30mm springs and have seen some KONI STR.T shock absorber which look like good value for money. I know the Bilstein B8 set up is probably the best but I am not looking to spend that much money TBH. Has anyone had any experience with these KONI Shocks? Or are there any similarly priced alternatives that anyone recommends?

I have had the KONI STR.T shocks on my S3 for over a year, really happy with them. I run them with Eibach pro springs.

Cheers mate, will probably get them soon. Seen a set for £275 which seems good compared to £570 for the B8's!
