New Turbo time

Hey,

looks like the seals in my turbo have gone as ive found oil in the charge pipe and throttle body. i bought a ebay turbo about 18 months ago before i knew all the problems with them. do you think its worth trying to port the WG? i measured it this morning and its max 21mm, should i port it to 26mm?

the other option is to get a secondhand turbo (cant afford brand new at this time) will the BAM turbo fit a AMK engine?

BBT can supply a good std type unit for good price

ye i've emailed him, just seeing what my options were. so you think its not worth trying to port the other turbo i have?

my third option i suppose is to take my turbo off and send it to BBT but not sure what condition its in until i get it off.

also is there any difference between a BAM and AMK turbo?

both should be k04-023 with egt

ok thanks Bill, i thought the AMK had the k04-022 and the BAM k04-023

mine does have egt so guessing the BAM turbo should fit mine ok.
