Anyone had their LCD DIS Cluster repaired by Allsortsuk2009 off eBay?

My LCD DIS has properly given up, very rarely comes on and when it does, most of the lines are missing.

Ideally would like to get it repaired as the info on there is very handy.

Anyone used the service on eBay by Allsortsuk2009?

Not sure if this is the same guy, but there is a place in Leicester that does them, if you do a search on here there was a thread not too long ago about it and how impressive the work was.

I moved house last month and I'm still trying to sort out a clean working environment for soldering jobs.
Price is only to cover the cost of parts, postage and a little bit for my time.

Soon as I got my area sorted out I'll let you know.
