Right at the weekend i changed my front pads and discs ( A3 1.6 , FS III calipers , caliper carrier part of hub) and on one side i stripped a bolt ( caliper carrier , frt right) and on the other side one of these was already stripped for me . Now i could take off the hubs and get them helicoiled but i do not have the know how to take these off so getting a garage to do this for me would be too much i imagine....
I have heard about oversized self tapping bolts , does anybody have any experience with these ? and does anybody happen to know info reg the bolt sizes of the FS III's ?
Also , i must drive to liverpool from warrington every day with this ( and am currently doing ) , is this safe ?
