Brakes are down to the floor and work about 5%, big brake warning light on, took it to a mate and you get 00180 code (I think) which tells you nowt.
anybody give me a clue what's up?
Is it a 2k abs job? I hope not, can you get a recon one.
needing some help here folks or I'm ******.
i live in Central Scotland if you know any places that can help.
cheers.

Most likely a fluid loss or air getting into the system, have a look at all 4 corners see if there's any damp or wetness.

Also look at the master cylinder on the bulk head too for same damp or wetness

SP autobahn in Stirling are looking at it on mon.
If it is the abs pump, anybody point me in the right direction for a recon one?
Thanks for the help tommo.

No leaks so it looks like repairing my abs pump.
Any recommendations?

Sorry tommo
2002 1.8turbo
Just found out my mechanic never had time to look at it today.
Reading online anybody with the abs problems never had brake fail.
My abs light never came on, my brakes just got worse over 3 days.
I never saw any leaks in my drive.

Glad you got there in the end,was it leaking or jus letting air in?

Both I think.
Be fixed on wed, I'll post how much.

Shouldn't cost that much about an hours labour I'd of thought,I hate doin break lines tho as its hard to get the copper pipe straight lol so looks wonky but least 95% of it is under the car.

My mate said the very same thing about hating doing brake pipes!
£10 for parts and £70 for lab
Mates rates, he is usually £44+vat/hr.
Thanks for your help tommo.
Might be selling it if your interested.
