what do people recommend, new and need help

Hello, im looking at buying an s3, 2001 210bhp version. when everything is complete im doing a stage one consisting of turbo back, induction, new dump valve and a remap. i would like to see about 265bhp if possible... who do people recommend to use for remaps? what consist in a stage 2 remap...?


also looking to lower it near on right away, what brand do people suggest to get to lower?

sorry if it seems im asking a lot, some of which can seem pointless, wanting an s3 for a while, appreciate your help a lot

Add an intercooler to your list and you can have a stage 2 map.

Suspension depends on budget first, then you will get a variety of options

ok, what would internals take on the s3? what power do people get before they start to forge? what other mods can I do for stage 2 remap? and whats the next turbo up from the std s3 turbo?

No magic figure for internals as age/condition of engine skews this massively... have seen completely std S3's throw a rod and it seems everyone has a 'mate' thats runs 400hp on std rods... take from that what you will but (rifle drilled) rods are recommended if serious about tuning these engines at the age they are...

If planning for a hybrid K04 (next turbo replacement from a std K04) then do rods... have a read of this...
