    Turbo stall? Do I need a new diverter?

    I seem to get turbo stall if I lift off, and this morning it happened on an incline in 6th at just below 80mph. I put my foot back to the floor and it didn't feel like it was boosting again immediately.

    It felt fine once going back through the gears.

    Busted diverter diaphragm?

    Does make a noise, but not sure off the top of my head.

    Just take the DV off and pressure test it mate to see if it's leaking- that would be the quickest/easiest diagnosis.

    Just to save hassle, someone is doing a VCDS scan on it for me this lunchtime, so would that show such an issue?

    To be honest I get the flutter sound and the car gives a jerk.

    Now discovered there's a hell of a misfire on 3/4 to full throttle from 3-4k. Got my codes and will post them in a thread tonight.

    Nothing about diverter I could see, but there is something about charge pressure and also the injectors.
