    Oil level Sensor & N75

    Hi all,

Took my 2000 S3 to a local VAG specialist today as I had an amber oil sensor light come on.

Turns out the oil level sensor has died so a new one needs to be fitted.

When the diagnostics were plugged in it also threw up a dodgy N75 and they have suggested again a replacement having checked all the hoses.

My question is where is the best place to buy these parts?
I'm not after oem per say but a good quality part none the less.

I would stick with OEM for both them, you will only have to change them sooner if you buy non genuine. A genuine N75 can be purchased from eBay easily, make sure it's brand new and the correct code.

I got my Oil Level Sensor from Euro Car Parts, was about £47, its a genuine one, but just had the make filed off.

The N75 was from TPS, cant remember the price, but wasnt that expensive to be honest.

That's the exact one I used and it seems to be doing the job fine.

Thanka guys will give that a look. Ideally want the car to be running spot on so I can have it mapped eventually.

Does anyone happen to know the correct codes for a 2000 S3 APY oil level sensor and N75 valve?

Apparently there are two very similar for the oil sensor but I can't check as I have no access to get under the car

Is anyone able to help or advise me as to how I can work which specific part numbers I need?
