New A3 owner, Seat problem.. I think.

Morning all,

Newbie here and I have had a little search for this topic with no luck.

I have 2001 A3 which has an issue with the driver seat. Unfortunately it won't click down into the mechanism after being tilted forward.
So without anyone sat in it, it's kind of tilted/floating between 5 & 10cms from the floor of the car and then when I sit in it, it'll lower into the normal position.

Any ideas?

Apologies if this makes no sense at all but I'm very slowly edging towards the end of a night shift!

Its all good, had a little look and one of the linkages had popped off, fixed it and now it properly clicks down.
