Sorry if its a constantly repeated one,but here goes :2001 a3 tdi keeps giving limp mode, moreso from cold,usually as boosting to around 2800 rpm i've fitted new maf, and n75 valve,cant find any damaged vac pipes, any advice would be great.
please dont groan ! limp mode fault.

have you scanned for fault codes?
the most obvious would be the lambda after those replacements, but a scan should at least point in the right direction.

Do you have the variable vane type turbo?
If so, it may need cleaning out. They can get real dirty with soot. This gunges up the boost control and you can overboost very easily, causing limp mode.

not really sure (excuse the ignorance)its a 2001 A3 tdi se 110 bhp and the turbo boosts perfectly sometimes for hours on end then from nowhere, limp mode!
vag test revealed something along the lines of variable boost pressure, charge side, possibly still baffeled as to why its so intermittent
