I am replacing my Audi Concert, rear amplified, with a Sony DSX-A40UI (Halfords | Sony DSX-A40UI Radio with iPod/iPhone, AUX & USB connectivity).

I removed the Concert stereo and connected the car wiring up to a PC9-404 and an amplified ISO adaptor.

There remains a single brown connector which was screwed into the back of the Concert. What is this and where should it go?

There is a blue wire coming out of the amplified ISO adaptor. Where should this go?

The aerial adaptor doesn't fit into the back of my new stereo, I must need another adaptor but other than that sounds comes out of the speakers and when I take the key out of the ignition the stereo turns off.

However the stereo is not storing memory so I guess I am missing a permanent live connection? Surely there was one for the old Concert? What to do?

Thanks for any help - this is another 10 minute job that is taking all day!

Well I solved the memory problem. It seems that my live and switched live connectors were the wrong way around.

Connect the blue wire to the remote antenna cable from the headunit.

Thanks Emmo. I thought about it overnight and came to the same conclusion.
