boost problem dooing my head in

i have a 97 a3 1.8t the turbo blew last week so put another one on the problem is it wont boost past 4 psi my old turbo done this too when i took the n75 off it boost to 10psi no problem i never wanted to push it any more but know it could go more

My mate had a boost problem and thought it was the turbo on his golf R. Ended up changing the intercooler and it's all up and running now with full boost.

His car was in the workshop for about a week to try and figure out the problem. Worth checking it out. Hope you get it sorted soon
