Cambelt due in feb.....

The cambelt is due to be changed in February next year as it was last done in 2009. Am I living on borrowed time if I wait until then to get it done? Or should I get it done now? Obviously with Christmas coming up, not got a lot of spare cash floating around at the mo.

Is the 5 year rule accurate, or are they likely to fail close to the 5 year period?

Booked it into a specialist tomorrow. What 350 quid for peace of mind ....
