Rear break pad replacement

Hi guys,

Just replacing the rear pads. Got the calliper of fine, pads out. Now the problem I've got is getting the calliper to go back, I've been for a calliper winding tool applied it to the calliper to wind back in, it will not turn:s
I'm right in turning it clockwise? I've removed the brake fluid cap. Tried it with hand break off as well as on. Also tried to loosen the break bleed valve, it won't budge.

What I'm I doing wrong?

they can be tight to go back in. or the piston could be seized.

handbrake has to be off. and you don't need to undo the bleed nipple.

Not sure if this is the right way but a few gentle pulls on the brake lever. Get some to do it whilst watching if the piston pushes out of the caliper.
That way you know the piston isn't seized.
The piston can be a ar$e to wind back in. Abit of persuasion it will wind in.
I'm also sure it's clockwise.
