    Forge 007p with not dump just recirc

    Had one of these fitted for a long time now. Have always ran it just so it recircs. Decided the other day for the first time to take the cost off and try it out with dump. When stationary and reving it opens and pushes air out well. But when driving it continues to recirculate.

    Why is this?

    Umm.. Because the 007p is recirc only..

    Oh maybe I haven't got that one. Mine you can add a trumpet to aswell and take a blanking plate off

    Sounds like you have a Forge Split R

    I made the mistake in buying one of these some many years ago....makes a great paper weight but not the best/ideal for our 1.8t.

    Just have a little search on here about what people think of them.

    Everyone's advice inc mine will be to sack it off and get a 007/008P or stick with an OEM one.

    errrgghhh... split-r is the work of the devil... bin the leaky thing off... atmos valves of any description are no good for 1.8t's running std ECU's...
