facelift headlights onto a pre-facelift car

I want to upgrade my pre-facelift headlights to facelift ones,I have the headlights and know u have to trim the lip on the wing so my question is what else is needed to do the job? Thanks for looking

wiring adapters are for sale on ebay if you dont want to butcher your own and if you have bought after market copys i.e ebay theres a grey area on zenon and bulb cross fittiment i think?? guessing you already have zenons?

I got genuine headlights
So it's just the wiring adapters I need then?

No adaptors needed on the s3 but needed on the a3 if you're not confident altering the wiring. Then just a hid kit. I've got them in my s3.
