Boost

Can anyone tell me how much psi of boost I should be seeing on a standard 1.8t a3 1999 model. I want to get a boost guage but want to know wether I should be getting a 30psi or a 20psi one. I know the mk4 golf with the same engine as mine is 7psi standard and with stage 1 revo tuning it is 19psi, is this the same for my a3?

So a 20psi guage would be fine, I just dont like the idea of having a guage that doesnt fill up lol

20 psi borderline enough 25psi ideal imho

Ahh hadnt seen a 25psi guage, not that I had really looked haha
