Hi all, I am giving you all good advice when changing the precat sensor on an audi a3! get a garage to do it. I've spent a full day trying to get the awkward socket on then attaching the socket bar on and it just will not turn. I've blowtorched it. I've wd40'd it. I've Had a pair of plumbing stillsons around the socket to try and turn it that way. In all my years of plumbing/fiddling about with mechanics I have had no where near as tight as what That thing is in there. It's been laughing at me all day. Taking it to a garage. It's there problem now! You won't be laughing soon you little mother f*****
