8J Alloys

Hi all

Just wondering if 8J alloys would fit my 98 A3 without spacers? If I do need spacers what size would be best? Tyres that are going on will be 225/45/17.

think mine are 8j mate and i dont have a problem.

8J should be fine, depends of the off set... Anything below ET35 and you may start having clearance issues, anything Over ET45 and you'll probably want spacers otherwise they'll look weird.

Do you know the off set? . . Should be stamped inside the rim

Yeah just checked they are 8JX17/ ET35/ 5x100 so they should be all good then? And is 225 a big enough tyre size or would it be better of they were bigger?

I wouldnt go wider on the tyres if you are planning on slamming it, if the fronts rub on the arches it can cause big problems cornering at higher speeds
