Audi A3 8L 130 ASZ - Again.

Hi guys.So i've just bought an OEM airbox, MAF meter/sensor and the pipe that connects the air box to the turbo.(the previous owner had a barry boy HKS mushroom filter that wasn't even fitted correctly - which I suspect was throwing my car into limp with ESP light coming on)the parts have come off a 2002 1.9 tdi but i'm not sure what the engine code or BHP was. (mine is also a 2002)Does it make a difference to car - so if it was say a 100 or 115 bhp tdi - are there any compatibility issues with my ASZ 130?Someone who's had a look says it's the wrong pipe?Any guidance guys?Jimmy

The pipe and airbox you have there are from a TDI PD 100 model and will not fit your car.

The 100 & 115 Bhp pipes, MAF and airbox lid have a smaller diameter.

You will need to source an airbox lid from an S3, TDI 130 or 150 (Golf, A3, Leon) or Golf V6 4motion.

You would be better off buying a new MAF, the TDI relies 100% on the MAF for it fuelling, I would not trust a used one.

The Accordion pipe will also need to come from a TDI 130 or 150 (Golf, A3, Leon).

Will pipes/airbox/maf from a 130bhp passat work?

No Passat has totally different setup.

You can tell the two airbox lid types on the MK4 platform apart as the one for the larger MAF has a recessed bit where the MAF joins.
Its the one on the left:

Would I just need the plastic pipe that connects from the MAF to the aluminum pipe or do I need a whole new accordion pipe too?
