I have noticed a few people on here have had their flywheels lightened.
Does anyone know of a machinst that are local to London?

It's not a case of lightening the standard flywheel as are cars come with dual mass flywheel which are hard to machine to make them lighter. What you need is a single mass flywheel then that can be lightened but after lightening it will need to be dynamicly balanced just like a car wheel after a new tyre has been fitted. Just think have you ever driven a car with a wheel that unbalanced? It vibrates like hell! Now if you had that in you engine it will end up destroying itself and that's not good.
If you get a single mass flywheel then give me a shout as I can do the above

Thanks for the reply.
Sorry I should of made myself clearer. I went out and bought an ABF single mass flywheel yesterday.
