Power steering fluid weird one ??

Hey all so I decided to take my secondary air injection pump off to fix the whining noise it was making and to make it a little easier I disconnected the power steering hose that connects to its pump at bottom of drive belt I think lol, so I refit everything top up with some halfords power steering fluid as couldn't get out for dealers one now makes an annoying noise whilst turning the wheel sounds like an electric motor when turning the steering.

Any suggestions

So you just used normal power steering fluid instead of mineral oil then?

Yeh I used normal power steering fluid not mineral oil

It has to be the green CHF mineral based stuff, so i would try and get the stuff you put in OUT asap

Damage is most probably done if the pump is whining.
