My 1999 s3 cubby hole where the cigarette lighter is wont click and stay closed anymore? Have pulled it out the car but cant see whats wrong?
Cubby hole won't click close?

very common issue. even after fixing mine 20 times it still does it after a few days.
on the side of the cubby hole when you pull it out you can see what looks like a gear with loads of grease on it. There was nothing much wrong with mine i.e. no broken parts but it looks like it just wears out.
