Chaps,

I replaced my thermostat & temp sensor (green) about 8 months ago on my 02 S3. All was good until the other month i noticed it takes ages to hit 90 & sometimes doesnt even make it on short journeys....but i'm sure it usually does.

Am i correct in saying there is only 1 sensor ? my heater seems to blow out good heat even at around 75.

Really dont wanna have to change my thermostat again that was a headache.

Regards

Matt

same here ive got a reciept for the green temp sensor but my gauge only reaches 70 or so and takes ages to get up there , sometimes doesnt even register

The sensor being the cheapest part is what i'm gonna replace first the thermosat is such crap job to do

Cheap ebay green sensors are rubbish and the seller who sells them on eBay laughted at me when I said it failed an replied with a you might see one in the post if your lucky so that says it all about his 2 year warranty.
Now have a Tps one all good as the last dealer one I bought for £45 died in just over a year!.

Good luck and don't but the cheap one!!!
