Is it possible to remove the front shocks & springs without the use of a spring compressor?
Replacing them for new ones so was hoping they'd come out in a complete unit somehow and I could refit the new ones.
Not looking forward to tackling this job but skint at the moment so going to have to do it myself :-(

Yes, the front suspension units can be removed without a spring compression tool. The top mount keeps the spring in place.

Depending on the spring / shock combo your fitting, you may have trouble building the new struts up without compressors.

This is a good point! May just invest in a set of spring compressors to make life easier
