    S3 8L exhaust

    Im looking into getting an exhaust to meet my 3" downpipe with sports cat.
    I have been given a reasonable quote for a 3" cat back system to meet my downpipe. That would mean that the exhaust is 3" turbo back.
    Is that a bit overkill? I know as Bill @ Badger5 says "Its all about the flow" but I know the Milltek is 2.75 inch.

    If the 3" is no good, it seems silly to fit a Milltek as that would mean my system is 3", 2.5" (the tapered bit on the downpipe that usually meets the standard exhaust) then 2.75".

    I also dont want it to sound like a 1.2 corsa, I just want to firstly meet the requirements of stage2, and seconly have a bit " grunt " under acceleration.


    Any help appreciated as always!
    REVO Stage 2, Eibach anti roll bar kit, forge 007p diverter valve (yellow spring), Badger5 turbo intake pipe with Jetex filter and Neuspeed heat shield, Forge upper bost hoses, N75, DV and Cam breather hoses, XS Power 3" downpipe 200cell cat and 3" cat back system, Apex 30mm springs, N249 bypass, Oil catch can and PVC delete, Front Mount Intercooler............

    Thanks for the quick reply, tufty to the rescue as always!

    I have had a look at that thread, the system looks aweosme!

    I think im just going to go for the 3", with milltek special style tips.
    As long as 3" isnt too big, but as I understand its the turbo that supplies the back pressure on a turbo's car?
