    ko3s or ko4?

    I've seen this sort of thread before but couldn't find it so asking the question, ko3s or ko4 for my 1999 A3 1.8T, am I right in believing that Ko3s is a simple swap for the ko3 and the ko4 requires internals and the rest of it?

    What are the Pros and Conns?

    K03s is a straight swap, k04 requires more: different inlet, exhaust manifold, larger injectors needed etc.

    Mods: Badger5 2.2 TIP, Jetex filter, PCV delete, 710 DV, Standard N249 in use, R-Tech Stage 1 TiV Remap, Audi TT Pedals, Red Dogbone, Polybushed tie arms. All silicone boost pipes, Michelin PS3s, Red V6 coil packs, MK4 flat blade conversion, retrofited cruise control.
    Currently: 254bhp - 276lb/ft (174bhp/ton) as of 11/02/2013 On V-Power

    No problem. I am sure others that have done the conventions can give you some more in depth advice and will be along soon.

    also need a new down pipe too, stick to the ko3s mate u can get a good 230-240 from it if healthy
