What were the s3 seat options, what was standard and optional

The half leather and alcantara from pictures looks like it has held up better over the years as the leather seems to crease more

Was heated seats ever standard on a particular year as I'm pretty sure it was on a 225 TT, as I had one before?

Heated leather seats are just a nice to have on those cold winter mornings :)
Where are the switches for these?

Did people with alcantara ever spec it with heated heats?

Leather was standard in black or silver according to my 2002 brochure. Leather and alcantara was a no cost option. Black leather with blue suede, black leather with cream suede, and black leather with yellow suede.

You could also spec cloth seats at no cost if you didn't want leather or the leather/suede combo.

As far as I know heated seats was always a paid-for option.

Some rare 'audi exclusive' specced models might have a different leather/paint combination.

Thanks for the details
Where are the switches for the heated seats and assume they are in heat stages control?

Either side of the climate controls.
Dave

Yep, this is the case on the facelift models; pre-facelift is next to the rear screen demister button (passenger switch) and where the ESP button should be (drivers switch)

Heat stages from 1-6 and 6 is very toasty... 4 is most adequate for me :)

Still love to have fun with mates and heated seats, especially in summer
