And lastly.... abs fault!!

last fault that i know of with the car and as you all been so helpful theres no harm in asking.

code is 01276. abs hydraulic pump (v64) signal outside spec.

whats the procedure for checking it with basic vagcom 409.1? how can i determine whats at fault?

so far i cleaned the fuses and put a dab of dielectric grease and put some in the connector aswell at the pump but no change.

how do i test the pump?

Hmm, not looking good mate.

If the wiring to the module has been ruled out, wouldn't hurt the double check the connector again, i know you say you've checked the fuses, but have you checked the ones on the battery too? (check pin security(grab each wire and try gently pulling to see if it is secure))
