Car has just startee performing terribly

It sounds as if its missing, shuddering and shaking.. It starts ok and there is no lights on, on the dash..

Could this be the Coilpack?

Thanx

Could be though usually engine management light is normally illuminnated.

From outside of the car (when idling or just switched off) can you smell unburn't fuel ?

Nice one /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/beerchug.gif Let me know the outcome..

also check the 4 wires leading into each coilpack top, they can begin to melt,(as mine did), and give similar symptoms.

Wires seem ok to coilpacks!!

Anyway found out its covered under my Warrranty /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/yes.gif

But will it be ok to drive it 25miles to get it sorted if it is the coilpack/s???

Cheers

Had it fixed recently.

One coilpack had failed..

Just a new clutch needed now /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/froggie_red.gif and the problem with no boost now and again to sort out /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/froggie_red.gif

The joys of motoring- NOT!!!!
