Curious issue here. My AVU 1.6 idles low when warm. But only when at a complete stop with the AC off. When cold it idles perfectly under all situations. Once is warms up, it will idle fine when rolling and fine when the air con is on.(800-900rpm).
When warm and at a complete stop with air con off it idles around 500 and is very lumpy, and occasionally hunts.
I'm aware that the idle air control valve takes input from the AC clutch sensor, temp sensor, and speed sensor, among others.
How exactly does the IACV valve work? Does it open different port for different circumstances or just widen one? If the prior, could it be one particular port blocked with gunk? Any other idea. Any help is greatly appreciated.
