abs sensors

    hiya all merry christmas

took the car through the local arc today as it was positively grimy, and now since i have had my abs sensor on my dash staying on, it gone off once or twice but predominantly stays on

Is it just a cruddy sensor or if its a buggered 1 how do i find which 1, and which is the correct price on eurocar parts is it the 30 something quid or is it the 7 something quid to replace the sensors

Car feels ok to drive and no braking problems so should get me through the chrimbo patch

you always notice your car brakes down on a chrimbo holiday

    Re: abs sensors

I've had 3 ABS sensors go wonky on mine. Usually starts as an intermittent problem triggered by moisture then gets worse. I got mine replaced, though I don't know if all they need is a clean-up -they're pretty simple devices. Held on with a 5mm Allen bolt which is usually seized...
