Long time watcher and reader of these forums but now have a 2000 plate apy s3 with a custom code stage 1 map on forge 007p and green cotten panel filter and this last week i have been fitting a Ah fabs V2 cooler, which im very happy with. Quick sum up, choice was either downpipe or cooler at the min and spoke to bill and he recomended the cooler so, with that in mind, ordered it and fitted it this week. I didnt have a boost leak tester so did up every thing as tight as possible, i used Jcs Hi grip jubile clips as tuffy recomends and was pretty happy all is well.
A few bits i need to change are the boost pipe from the hot pipe on top of the engine to the 1st 90 degree bend as just on the drive reving you could see it expanding and contracing, so under load in sure its much worse. so will get that orderd asap and next will be bills v3 tip. And then get bill to do a custom map on her
From road testing the car feels good and altho slightly more laggy there is no more feeling of lost power after a hard drive.
I have graphed the Req vs Act boost and it is slightly below Req but this is exatally the same as pre cooler fitting, it never quite hit exact numbers, so fairly happy, not sure if this is tired turbo or what but hopefully you could give the logs a once over and advise on any thing.
