After lazing about so far this week on my week off I decided today was the day I did something productive! Ish...

So I got my Turtle Wax headlight restoration kit out, and some 2000 grit wet and dry from eBay and had at it.

These are my results...

N/S Before
1277713 10153165632760106 239730624 o

N/S After
1275498 10153165633845106 1246298717 o

O/S Before
774433 10153165799865106 1369343286 o

O/S After
1150727 10153165800170106 241245610 o

End Result
1276206 10153165800660106 908835205 o

I'm much happier now. But I think the N/S light was worse for wear in the beginning so I haven't quite equalled it out...

May have another attempt at it again sometime with the lowest grit finishing pad I can find.

Enjoy!

I ordered that kit yesterday, can't wait to crack on and restore mine now!

I recommend getting a few sheets of 2000 grit to use with the lubrication spray before using pad 3 and 4 to finish them off.

But pretty happy with it for the two bottles and the uv wipe at least :)

Anyone know where I can get a bottle of the uv protection spray?

Use lamin-x film...

Clean your headlamp lenses with goog old fashioned toothpaste and bi carb . Works a treat . Wet the lense first and have the toothpaste on a damp cloth with added power of the bi carb . Work it into the lense in circular motion . Keep at it until you are sweating and some more wasp it off . Job done . Try it before you buy expensive kits .
