Quick Bolt size question

Hi guys I am replacing my front seats and there is 2 ... What look like torx bolts on the front of the seat. Anybody know what size these are? Look quite big. Thanks

You mean the 2 to remove the seat? These are 'usually' just 13mm nuts.

Yes buddy. They normally are but not mine its an a3 1998 1.8t

Seem to recall the non 13mm nut ones are T40 torx. Not 100% on that tho.

Why not pick up a set? Buying individual bits is normally an expensive way of buying. T15, T20, T25 & T40 are used a lot on VAG stuff, expecially interior. Useful to have.

Good idea, although I do have a set but doesn't go big enough for those two under-seat bolts. Purchased a T40 anyway as only 99p delivered and will probably only use it this once! Thanks for you help buddy, cant wait to get rid of these old worn tatty seats.
