okkkk right at the front of the engine ontop of the oil filter has like a plastic pipe coming out of it that feeds upto the head breather pipe into a Tsection etc, well the plastic cheap poo bit coming off the oil filter bit has snapped probably due to age, but will this affect my engine in any way shape or form? apart from the wonderful petrol fumes that come into the car currently lol! ??

and really is my MPG normal? put my foot down earlier with Vag-Com connected and MPG readings showed erm 10MPG foot to the floor and 24mpg cruising at 60mph!

this car is painful for a 1.8 20v i half expected abit more lol! what was i thinking?

Looks like you have a few split pipes mate that would explain the poor MPG mate, you should find the split pipes and replace them with silicon ones, forge do some good silicon pipes for the 1.8t engine also the performance will be a lot better when you replace the pipes!

Damn was hoping breather pipes wouldn't cause to much of an issue but seems they do! Bah!
