hi all,
was here ages ago when i needed help with my a3, seems as was linked to a old Facebook i cant re login in that name. I did ask admins to sort it and it has`nt .
I find myself here, as maybe selling my car so would like some people to feedback on price and options.
Car is the following:
1998 (s reg ) Audi A3 8L 1.8T
On a private plate with 1k
From 11 aug 1998 to 12/7/12 15 stamps in book
Its now on just over 160k on clock
7 old mot`s cert with it and folder off receipts
Sprayed in LZ7W "Aviator Gray" , possibly the only 8L A3 in this colour in the UK, smoothed in
carbon fibre film on bonnet
Some sort of quiet dump valve ( standard )
18inch lm6 mbz merc wheels
WeiTec coil overs with booklet
AMD remapped to 200bhp with induction kit
Engine Cover also in Aviator gray
Window tints
NEW dsi done 1 year ago, no dead pixels ect
rear parking sensors added
Bad points
claim with local council due to Pot hole damaged car last month:
steering rack replaced, p/s front and rear wheels kerbed
front bumper paint off
As per post here last year, Airbag light on after removing p/s seat to sort out the water leak from the hole near the battery
ABS light on, not sure why as was not on car before i replaced the cluster.
As per post, options:
do i sell without doing the following:
respray bumper and tidy up paint (£500), all 4 wheels refurbed (£400)
I was hoping for £1800 with out doing the above
Car has 6 months tax and 3 months mot. Does good miles around 35mpg and 340 on a tank
the photo with black wheels, is what i was going to do for refurb
car will be sold with 1000w rms amp and sub and head unit
