Been having problems with my engine so i decided to hook up a boost gauge i had lying around, any way started the car and the needle pointed straight down surely thats too much vac? ImageUploadedByTapatalk1375019473446864

I recently hooked up a boost gauge for the same reasons, and mine also stays on 30inhg, not sure what it means tho

I agree it is a cheapo gauge lol i used it on my impeza until i realised it was ****e so i bought a decent 1 for it but sadly the scoob has gone:-(

I only tapped in to the vac pipe going to DV. I will be fitting a boost gauge soon (not the 1 i uploaded), should i plumb into the vac pipe coming off intake manifold ?

Yes... assuming you still have the N249 connected up then I believe the vacuum could be different due to the vacuum store....
