Error Codes and general advice

Ok so my A3 that i bought on a limb has 4 error codes. It is a 1.6 1998. I looked in the section for help but it was not coming up.

So the codes are

00537 Oxygen Sensor Control
00557 (no code found in the manual)
00525 02 Sensor - Voltage Low - G39
00668 Battery Power Voltage Supply (terminal 3)

So does this mean i must replace the Lambda Sensor (i am guessing there is only one in the front downpipe)

It is idling a bit rough and is stalling VERY easily.

Any help or advice or help would be greatly appreciated. Remember i am a relative noob so idiot speak would be preferred!

I have studied all of them further and i think my two first port of calls are:

1: New battery
2: Pre cat lambda sensor.

Here are a few pics of more findings.

After running/starting this appears on the ground from the exhaust



There is this sludge in the top of the coolant that doesn't smell of anything.

where in fife are you?
what miles is on your car? have you checked for vac leaks or any air leaks?

Hey buddy, i did check for leaks and it all seems good as i had a leak in my mazda before and it turned out to be a split in the air intake.

I had a read of that and i think it is all coming together. Very soon i will have her on the road. I am in Cowdenbeath but i was brought up in Glenrothes.
