HI GUYS.my car keeps throwing up the fault code 17939, which is either the camshaft sensor or adjustment valve.it does seems to idle a bit more rough than it used to.any ideas, as I dont want to replace the wrong part.a few times the eml light has come on.i dont know if thats to do with that or not.i have no other fault codes apart from this one.regards spence.

Check the VVT is plugged in

Yep...

If its connected then check the wiring... open circuit suggests a break in connection so either not plugged in or a break in the wire
