Lcr rear axel

Hi all would this axel bolt straight to a3 1.8t I was looking at a complete axel with disks & calipers as an upgrade ? Cheers StuartStuart

Yes mate. Straight fit. Bar is slightly stiffer than the a3 one, and the discs are bigger too

Cheers prawn , what about brake hose connections & poly bushing the axel before fitting? Cheers

Probably wouldnt bother with polybushing the beam. Heard it makes it really skittish on a lot of other cars. LCR has harder bushes as standard anyway im pretty sure so probably stick to new ones of those.

Skoda Fabia VRS bushes give the same results as the LCR ones but are much cheaper.

They are also much easier to fit than stock ones. Usually pay around £9 each at ECP.
