Air snorkell??

Does the A3 1.8T early cars have an air snorkell within the wing? If so can I remove it? Any pointers? TIA

Air is routed in from the front grill area, but its not "forced" in as there is plastic over the front of it.

You can remove it to fit a large number of after market air intake pipes. Or you can do the airbox smoothing mod and use some flexible ducting from the front lower grill area.

I don't really want an induction kit, the airbox smoothing mod sounds interesting, is there anymore info about or a how to? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif
