Due to cambelt failure my engine is coming out in the next few days.
I have a chance to remove the SMF and sell it and leave a DMF in the car. Should i sell the SMF to recoup some costs, or leave it in cos i know its a good setup even though its noisey!

Anyone in the market for a helix singlemass and fast road clutch for the 6speed box?!

i have a smf and wouldnt ditch it. the engine just revs like it supposed to.
i was at an engineering company the other day and they said they would balance the crank with the pistons and flywheel for about 120.
An option if your rebuilding the engine.

smf/kit... i bought the smf with clutch, actually on dissasebly, only another 10k miles left on it, think ill get a paddle clutch plate ready if i dont scrap the car soon. lots of hot spots on the flywheel, i think its had some abuse... must of been when it was taken for warranty work at audi... tsktsk
