1998 A3 Fault Code Reader

I'm looking to get a cheapy fault code reader from eBay just so I can clear my airbag light as it got unplugged. Does my 1998 A3 have an OBD2 connector?

Will this do the trick?

Thanks tufty. I have read the stickies and understand what is needed to use a laptop. However, my laptop battery died a slow and painful death and I live in a flat so no plug sockets outside. I just wanted to know if that code reader would do the trick. Nicely put though.

Shame... these generic code readers are so limiting at times... VCDS is soooooooooooo much better even in its limited 'Lite' form but appreciate its tricky without an actual laptop lol...

I have one of these which is useful , also means you dont need a laptop

(be warned once you have one you will want to plug it in all the time lol)
