Oil pick up pipe

I have only just heard of an issue with the oil pickup pipe in the sump.
Is this an issue for all 8Ls?

Mine is 2001 1.8 petrol 8L A3, is this something I need to look at?

If so, what's the process? Take off and clean on a schedule or what?

Tufty have you got a part number for the gasket on the oil return pipe to the sump?
