APY s3 overboosting? 22psi

Evening all!

Unfortunatly I have a problem, it seems the s3 is boosting to 22psi at 4k

i have spent the last 2 days searching for blown pipes etc, looking at the n75 valve for damage etc but I can't see anything

also for some strange reason the car has not thrown up a code or gone into limp mode?

Allways used to boost to 16 but for some reason it's now at 22 constantly

any one offer any suggestions on what to check etc?

If the n75 is knackered it won't necessarily throw a code.....I'd try borrowing one and see if that cures it, simpliest way around it

Thanks mate are they interchangeable through through the range? Mate has a gti 1.8t so I could try that if it would be the same?

yes pretty much, dont get a J valve tho

Thanks mate guessing best bet is to spend the money on a new one if it does rectify the problem? I always thought it wouldn't boost if the n75 was breaking down etc

quite often the opposite... uncontrolled boost if its outlet port to the wg does'nt work...
