    Yep...

Re-read this thread as I'm almost 100% sure that the A3 lads go on about getting an adapter to get it to fit-

Not sure on the sizes you need but I think all the info is in there...pretty sure Jardo can advise as he loves his S2000 air filter more than life itself lol

I know I've ordered the adaptor now but what do you do about the sensors attached to the air box?

By sensor I guess you mean the ICM (ignition control module)... I believe most people just cable tie this out the way... its only early 1.8t's that have this (AGU's)

Not a bad idea tbh I've ordered the adaptor already but this might serve as a good quick fix and give me an idea how the filter sounds etc

Carry all of this on in the build thread then pal, so people can see any issues or problems you come across and offer any input. I don't mean any disrespect by what I said, and don't regard you as an idiot- more the opposite as I think it's great you're having a go at it on your own and on a public forum. If you keep everything you do in one place, it will be easier for you and us to help and give any information about your car and the other mods you have.

You actually remind me of a mate who was in the forces some 10 years ago now. He used to buy hundreds of pounds of mods a month when he was out on tour- then send them to my address and when he got back after several months, we'd have about £2ks worth of parts to fit to his motor in a few weeks! Lol

Dont worry fella I didn't take offence I knew what you meant, everyone's been really patient and informative

Ill post the link to this thread on my w.i.p and then ask any further questions I have on there, keep it all in one place as you suggested.

Yea I'm pretty much in the same position as your friend was it's also good though because it's something to look forward to, and I suppose adding mods all at once will make the improvements more noticeable, expect more amusing times to come lol

The ICM module should be bolted onto a heatsink... Thats what they bolt onto on the airbox (for a reason=they run hot)
