Hi, has anyone had any experience of fitting a pattern rear exhaust, opposed to an OEM one?
My 2003 1.6 has recently started making a knocking sound from the rear when going over bumps.
It's caused by the exhaust hitting part of the suspension cross member. The rear bracket is breaking up and the centre one is missing (!).
I've found the replacement sections on Eurocarparts etc. They are quite cheap but don't state a manufacturer or any reviews. I plan to keep the car for a few years yet. I don't want it to break and then pay for a genuine one after all.
