Haldex service

My S3 AMK is due its haldex service. Audi have quoted £59 for the oil change or £159 for filter and oil change. Surely it can't be that much of an **** to do.
My second question is, I am now considering doing it myself, but do you have to use the filter wrench, or can you use another tool to remove the filter? What size is it if anyone knows?..

Filter and oil are around £40-50 and the spanners about £20-30, i got my mechanic todo mine last time but had to lend him my spanner as he disnt have one as he said people very rately changed the haldex stuff which is a scary thought haha.

I recently had my Haldex oil and filter changed at a local VAG garage for £100, using all genuine parts.

I did mine myself, bit tricky to find the filter, but when you know where it is it's not too bad. 100% need the filter wrench though, no other tool would work IMHO
